The creative mastermind behind Nonstandard Automotive. About Remco; My passion for cars started when I was young. While others played outside, I took cars apart and put them back together, fascinated by how they worked. No one really taught me; Now I know, I was a craftsman in the making and learned everything through trial and error. Over the years, I honed my skills by spending countless hours tinkering, sanding, and restoring cars in my small garage.
As my skills grew, so did my desire to share my knowledge. One day I decided to start a YouTube channel, documenting my journey and demonstrating my craftmanship. With dedication, the channel quickly gained followers who were inspired by my unique approach to cars. My films are not just about restoring nonstandard cars; they are about encouraging a passion for craftsmanship among car enthusiasts.
What started as a small project is growing into a full-fledged community of car enthusiasts. I really enjoy making these films, I love sharing my tips and tricks and my personal experiences. Through my YouTube channel I show the world what I can do. But I also show the journey of me, a self-taught craftsman who found joy in every car I worked on.

This is my Opel Kadett 3-door Caravan. It is a custom build, powered by a punchy 2.0-liter engine equipped with twin Weber carburetors.
It has a carefully cleaned engine bay that emphasizes the sleek appearance. This Kadett has a custom-made airride suspension and iconic BBS RS wheels. The interior features a digital dashboard for a futuristic touch, while a roll cage and bucket seats underline its motorsport-ready features.
A seamless blend of vintage design and modern improvements, this Kadett Caravan redefines retro cool with its impeccable execution and attention to detail, making it a true Nonstandard cult classic.

My extended Volkswagen Transporter has been transformed into a masterpiece of functionality and luxury. Perfect for my everyday use.
It features air ride suspension complemented by striking 20″ Rotiform wheels for an unmistakable look. Inside, Recaro CS Sportster seats provide ergonomic support, while the full Alcantara leather interior exudes refinement and comfort.
